Celebrity Makeup Artists Tell You Their Tips For The Perfect Video Date Look

Here's how to ace your long-distance date night makeup look!

Are you keeping your long-distance spark alive with virtual dates? Well, here's another way to add extra oomph to your video call with bae.

The best bet for a virtual date is to keep your look natural and as fresh as possible, with a little extra help from your trusted highlighter! So, we spoke to celebrity beauty experts to help your date night with their makeup hacks:

Celebrity makeup artist Stafford Braganza, national makeup artist for L'Oréal Paris, India

"Eye makeup is a very basic yet a significant part of any makeup look. It instantly grabs attention, enhancing one’s natural beauty. I think it’s very important to keep the eyelids prepped, with moisturizer and primer. Next step would be to select softer browns and more natural shades of eyeshadow and use a nice shadow brush to apply it across your eyes. Use a flatter brush to take the colour down to brush under your water line for that smudge effect. This followed by a touch of eyeliner on the lash line and finally build it up with loads of mascara to finish off a great eye," he says.

"For the perfect virtual makeup, you need to focus on amping up your eye makeup tricks. I would suggest you follow these easy steps:

Prep your crease with brown eyeshadow to add some definition and depth. Then, fill your eyelid area with an eyeshadow in beige or neutral tones. Blend the two well with a brush. The final step (and major key!) is to dab on matte highlighter on your brow bone and finish the look with a liner of your choice."
